Frog Dissection:

Our 5th – 8th graders dissected a frog, Masha Allah they were very excited and they learned a lot from this.

CPSA Arabic Spelling Bee 2011 -2012

Our 4-8 grades students went to CPSA for the Arabic Competition on Wednesday, February 1st 2012. Alhamdulillah, Saira Khan from 6th Grade and Ayesha Saddiqa from 5th Grade won the Fisrt Prize. Takbeer!

Honor Roll Celebration 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, our 2nd quarter honor roll students were invited to have delicious breakfast with the Principal, their teachers and staffs. We are very proud of everyone of them. Keep up the good work, students!

Islamic Trivia 2011 -2012

On Friday, January 27th 2012, GEA held the Islamic Trivia Competition. Masha’Allah we had extremely knowledgeable contestants who answered the trivia questions promptly and swiftly. It was an enlightening experience for the participants, family and friends who attended. We really appreciate Alima Amina Lakhi and Iffat Deriwala for going out of the way for this event.

Field Trip: The Field Museum 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, the students from PS thru KG had a wonderful Field Trip at The Field Museum. We saw all kind of mammals in Africa, Asia, etc. We visited the earth in several billions years ago.

GEA Student President Election 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, we had a fair and open election on Wednesday, November 23 2011. Students from KG to 8th Grades voted their student president of 2011 - 2012. We are proudly announcing this year's student president is Aatika Zamir from 7th Grade. The vice president is Shahida Qazi from 6th Grade.

Honor Roll Breakfast 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, our first quarter honor roll students were invited to have delicious breakfast with the Principal, their teachers and staffs. This year, we see some new faces on the list. We are very proud of everyone of them. Keep up the good work, students!

Eid Party 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, our Eid Party was marvelous. Students' performance was well-prepared and well-organized. We also gave away encouragement presents to whoever winning the ribbons from Study Island. Refreshment and deserts were served with satisfaction and happiness.

Field Trip: Brookfield Zoo 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, on the day of the Field Trip Brookfield Zoo, the weather was beautiful and the zoo was not crowded. Students visited all the animals and the older grades even attended the dolphine show. The most important thing is we all came back on time and safe. Alhamdullilah!

Open House 2011 -2012

Alhamdullilah, the Open House was a success. All the teachers and staffs were introduced to the parents. All classrooms were open to the public.

Summer Fest. 2011

Alhamdullilah, the Summer Fest was a blast. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and deserts. Children had a lot of fun with dart games and moonwalk. Women took pleasure from shopping, beauty salon, and henna. JazakAllah for all the volunteers and donations to make this event happen.

Graduation Party-Last Day of School

Alhamdullilah, we had a wonderful party on our last day of school. Everyone brought food and drinks to celebrate with their classmates and teachers. Students had fun decorating the party room and playing games. JazakAllah for an amazing School year!

Honor Roll Celebration - 4th Quarter

Alhamdullilah, we had many students on White Honor Roll and Green Honor Roll at the last quarter of the School. Honor Roll students had a grant breakfast with their beloved teachers and staffs.

The 2011 Graduation Ceremony

Alhamdullilah, the 2011 Graduation Ceremony was a success. We had many inspiring performances that moved the audience. Best wishes for all the graduates! JazakAllah for making this a memorable event.

Parent Teacher Conference

Alhamdulillah, the Parent Teacher Conference for the third quarter was held on Friday, April 15th. We had a lot of positive feedback from the parents who came. Insha'Allah, parents and teachers working together can bring the necessary improvement in the students.

Spelling Bee

The Spelling Bee (English and Urdu) was held in April and Masha'Allah we had some tough competitors.

Field Trip: Lincoln Park Zoo

On Friday April 8th, 2011, the students from Pre-School thru 3rd Grade went to the Lincoln Park Zoo. It was a rainy day but we still had a wonderful time looking for the hidden animals and enjoying our well-prepared snacks.

Field Trip: Enchanted Castle

On Friday April 1st, 2011, the 4th Grade thru 8th Grade students had a blast at the Enchanted Castle in Lombard. We enjoyed the Go-Kart, Bumper Cars, Laser Tag and many other games.

Honor Roll Celebration - 3rd Quarter

On Thursday April 7, 2011, the Honor Roll students celebrated their achievement with their beloved teachers. The students had delicious pineapple cakes and fresh orange juices. The teachers had sweet carrot halwa, huge croissants, stylish pineapple cake and warm chai for breakfast.  

Science Fair

On Monday February 28, 2011, the Science Fair at GEA brought out the talents of our young scientists. They dispalyed exceptional projects and gained more knowledge of the world around them.

Seerat-Un-Nabi Jalsa

Alhamdullilah, the Seerat-Un-Nabi Jalsa was beneficial to the attendees. Many renowned scholars spoke on the teachings of the Holy Quran, and how our Prophet (S.A.W) applied the teachings of the Quran in his daily life. May Allah (SWT) bless the Ummah with Hidayah towards a strong Imaan, Ameen!

Alhamdulillah, the Math Bowl at Guidance was held on December 23, 2010 and it was enjoyed by students and parents as well. We had a great turnout of Mathematicians with super teamwork and prizes for the winners. This event was made successful with tremendous help and support from the Guidance staff and especially from Mrs. Sagheer.
