Welcome to 4th Grade

Dear Parents and Students,

Assalamuaalaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu!

May Allah (SWT) forgive us, shower His blessings, May He hear all our prayers n accept our pious supplications. May He forgive all our sins and grant us our deeds in our right palm on The Last Day. May Allah (SWT) be Merciful and may He fulfill our pious desires for the Hereafter; Ameen!

Welcome Back to School! Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Raazia Iftikhar and I am honored to be your child’s Fourth Grade homeroom teacher. Since this is my first year at teaching Guidance Educational Academy, I am as excited as you are to start this school year. I am looking forward to working with your child and hopefully achieve a healthy and fruitful environment where your child is excited to study and reach his/ her full potential.

I would like to give you a brief description about myself. I have done Bachelors in Business Administration qualification with majors in Accounting from Robert Morris College; and second major in Human Resource Management from Institute of Business Management. Although this will be my first experience as an official teacher but have been a teacher’s assistant through out my college life. I have done my O-Levels and A-Levels for my secondary and high school education.

I realize that teaching your child is a privilege and a huge responsibility; but I assure you that I will try my best to make this school year as much educational and motivational as I can. I believe that good learning starts with an environment that fosters discovery and exploration. But it’s a two way process and for that I will be needing your help. We both need to work together so that your child is provided an environment where learning is cherished as well as encouraged. I need you to constantly check and monitor your child’s performance, making sure that he/she is doing their homework and completing it to the best of their knowledge, helping them learn for quizzes and tests.

The students will be assigned homework sheets or workbooks regularly depending on the lesson taught and its very important that you as a parent make sure that your child completes it and submits it on time. The teacher-parent-student is a collaborative process that requires utmost attention from all sides to shape a socially, morally and academic society. The students are expected to abide by the school rules and regulations to maximize their learning process.

A monthly newsletter and everyday planner will be issued to students just as in the previous years to keep the parents up to date. You as parents are requested to please review and initial them and send them back with your child the next day.

Your cooperation and participation is very important in your child’s development and hence I encourage you that if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at (773) 764-8274 Ext# 3. I look forward to working with your child and you.

JazakAllah Khair,
